WHATABOUTISM

When I heard John Oliver introduce Whataboutism it became clear to me that Whataboutism is a deliberate strategy rather than a random discussion point.

It is the favorite diversion tactic of people who want to change the subject to avoid that the truth is coming out.

Talk about the Russian meddling with the election and whataboutism talks about Clinton’s browser use.

Talk about environmental problems and whataboutism is about cow’s flatulance .

Talk about global warming and whataboutism is about cleaning the coal when getting it out of the ground.

Talk about American terrorists and whataboutism is about Arab terrorists.

Talk about the Bannon book and whataboutism is Clinton’s autobiography.

Unfortunately that strategy is working well to distract a lot of people from hearing what is really happening.
